   It’s great to see that ISTV has brought out a news and information portal. It helps atleast we Manipuris away from home to share our feelings with the current affairs of the state. It’s really nice. However, I would suggest a few more things to make it a complete news and information portal -

   1. Flash breaking and headline news in the home page
   2. Provide live news feed, live video feed for breaking news
   3. Provide SMS alerts for news headlines
   4. Provide features for citizens forum to discuss on current affairs and news.

   These are some of the suggestions I have. Hope you comply and upgrade your portal.

   More focus required on public issues rather than some flimsy dance and songs on ISTV programes for the sake of entertaintment…

    I want to request ISTV,that im watching manipuri news everyday but from the
    last few week no update for manipuri only english news update. So i request
    to all the staff of ISTV ,please update the Manipuri news also everday.

    Hi, I really appreciate the great work and effort done by the IS TV to enable us to watch the news and other channel updates through internet though we stay far away from home. But I would like to request one thing that brings the steps forward to convert this channel into a satellite channel so that it can be watched in the whole nation. As the number of Manipuri lives outside the state becoming more day by day, this will really expand the service as well as the business.
    Lat but least, I am not able to watch the Manipuri News from last many days, why did you stop uploading this, Watching this Manipuri News is a way to rest for the parents and the senior citizen outside Manipur. Hope this make sense.

    The website doesn’t update every day .today is 8th September 2011 but the website is still showing only news of 6th September 2011. The website should update everyday on it’s own, if it is a news website as people log onto it to watch news everyday and if it won’t update then purpose of the website is defeated.

    ISTV is like a circus run by clowns and cracks… today is 21st sept and everyone is moving ahead…ISTV is still stuck on 19th sept news headlines,,, HAVE SOME RESPECT FOR THE PPL LOGGING IN YOUR WEB NEWS> DAMN IT !

    Sir,

    As we are all aware of the incident taking place at Kakching Lamkhai it is time for citizen with reasonable sense to control the situation from turning into worse. Therefore may I request all the media house to focus on controlling the emotions of the people who are trying to take extreme steps which otherwise it may turn to a civil war.

    Hi ISTV crew,
    First of all, I would like to express my appreciation for creating this page. Very good initiative. In this technological era, we need to update ourselves with all the changes. And this site helps us Manipuris who stay outside to update ourselves. I have a suggestion for this site. I saw some grammatical and syntactical errors in this site. It would be best if you employ someone who has good command over the language English to check and correct the language. e.g. spelling of President is written as Presedent. If I`m wrong,do correct me.

    Hi to all the Crews of ISTV news,
    First of all I would like to wish you A HAPPY NEW YEAR in advance. Being a Manipuri working outside I like know about news of Manipur. I use to read Ponapham newspaper in its webside. Fortunately 3 days back I have seen ISTV news portal from e-pao and seen ISTV new for 2 days. But unfortunately it is found that the portal is not updated regularly. So, considering for us like myself working outside and who want to see the news; I sugest you to update on regular basis.

    I would like to make a request regarding National Geographic Channel & LPS 2 Channel.

    Can you please change the audio to English? And also could you please add LPS 2 Channel which is broadcast from Mizoram. This LPS 2 Channel provide country.love songs and also some interview regarding health talk.

    The effort of ISTV in the field of mass communication in Manipur is very appreciable inspite of many limitations which we all know and understand. In fact ISTV is the one and only which makes Manipur at bar with other states in the fields of media.
    Amidst all these appreciation I would like to make a sugestion so that ISTV can further shine.
    Please include more news from the hill districts. This may surprise you but ISTV is nickname Meitei TV in the hill areas due to its tilting concentration in the valley. Kindly Top Up your hill areas link.
